Hi, Ladies. I am super new to this forum (and to MaryJanesFarm), but the instant I saw it, I knew I had to be involved. I LOVE letters, especially snail mail. I remember having a penpal in England many years ago and there was nothing quite like it, receiving letters from her. But, after reading all of the posts, I am not sure how to go about giving my information and to whom, so any help is much appreciated. Just reading all of the posts on the forums, looking at everyone's blogs (I have started one, but am not having much success with it-but, persevering with it) and going to Etsy, has sparked something inside of me that has brought me back to my roots of growing up in Montana, but now living in metropolitan Phoenix, Arizona. Thank you to everyone on this site for giving me something to look forward to each and everyday! Have a most wonderful day and Mother's Day to all of the mothers out there. GiGi

Welcome Gail!!! So glad to have you! The way the pen-pal forum works is whenever someone wants a pen-pal, they are matched up with the next person who signs on for a pen-pal. Once I post who your pen-pal is, you will then email eachother your home addresses. At this moment, we will have to wait for another pen-pal seeker to sign up so that you can have a pen-pal. Hopefully it won't be long. Hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day!

Yay Anne! I see you made it... I just posted an invite to you for this very forum on the 'welcome all new farmgals' topic. :o) You're ahead of me ;) Yep, all you have to do is post that you want a pen-pal... Your pen-pal will be GiGi58. So now all you do, is click on Gayles screen name and email her your home address. Gayle, you will also need to email Anne your home address. So glad to have you here... Have fun snail-mailing, farmgirls!

Could I still sign up for a pen pal? Or am I too late? :)

Hello Laura! You are never too late for a pen-pal... actually you have perfect timing. Amanda (DearMildred) is waiting for a pen-pal, so she will be yours. Now all you two have to do is email eachother your home addresses and start snail-mailing. Hope you have a blast getting to know eachother... let us know how things are going.
