I declared that I was going to clean today- so clean I did! I have been up since about 7am cleaning and cleaning...did I mention cleaning? I put Nora in her high chair with her dinner and laid down on the couch and promptly fell asleep for 20 minutes. That counts as a power nap, right? I let Nora watch one of the very few educational TV shows that we let her watch and fell asleep for that 20 minutes as well! She finally roused me by fussing in the chair. I can't remember the last time I took a nap in the middle of the evening like that!
And I hate to say it but when I count up the number of completed tasks- it just isn't that much. But when I total up the amount of work done I think I can rest easy tonight knowing I did a good job. I sure folded a lot of laundry- that's for sure!
And I still have another 3-5 loads of laundry to fold! Luckily some of them are blankets so they won't take long! Here's to another day of cleaning! I have a pregnant friend coming over so I want to make sure that my house doesn't have any offensive smells.
Phew! Am I wiped out!
