Hello to all. My name is Diane and I am so new to chatting on the web that I introduced myself under the book topic heading. That's a great start. If you want to read it, it is under dg7954. I apologize for starting out like a goof-ball. I am eager to chat with all of you. I have been reading some of your messages and already know that my friend who recommended this sight was right. It is warm, enlightened and insightful and full of great info!
Looking forward to hearing from you Note: The above introduction can be ignored. I sent a new one into the proper forum. How many times should someone introduce themselves? I guess more than once if you have multiple personality disorder. So let's just write this off to one of my personalities that suffers from impaired computer skills disorder. ICSD has a real ring to it. I think a telethon to raise funds to treat this disorder is called for. If there are contributors out there, please do not attempt to e-mail me as I have difficulty accessing my mail. Thanking you in advance for your patience and understanding.

Hi Diane, you sound like you will fit right in here or wherever you pop into at MJF. I used to work in Doylestown, it's a great town but boy has it exploded over the past 10 years! Are you in town or on the fringes? Any who...it's nice to have you here, welcome!
with a happy heart |

Thanks Bramble It's so great to talk to a former Doylestowntonian. We live right on the edge of the heart of Doylestown, off of 611 and Almshouse Road (If you remember where that is). The reason I keep a constant smile on my face is that I can walk to Marshall's from my home. It is currently located in the Barn Cinema Shopping Center (a famous landmark of DT). I can get there even in the snow, and that makes me invincible.
I appreciate the welcome, and am glad to be here. |

Welcome Diane, don't worry about boo boos. My first one was somehow subcribing to all the topics and getting 150 emails a day! You'll have a great time in these forums. Have fun. Jan |

I still have trouble posting, and I never seem to get a chance to read all the posts. There are so many new ones all the time, that it feels like the first time everytime I turn on my computer. Michele |

Welcome, Diane, sounds as though you will be at home here! I am also computer illiterate, but just began a late in life college adventure. I have to take a computer course, and already the instructor has had his patience tested. Now he just stands near my terminal and teaches the class from there. Of course the rest of the class started on computers in kindergarten, and I was 40 some. I do feel somewhat exonerated that noone knew what a margin was! Have fun in here, I gave up trying to go through all of the past entries, so many participating, it is wonderful! Jenny Louise |
