how's it coming along gurlfrenz? how many of you are going?

i have decided that i just have toooo much on my plate right now to wander too far from home (other than TOLEDO!)

daughter kristen still has NOT gone for that biopsy .. she has an appointment March 24 .. sooo .. all that is still up in the air .. please remember her in your prayers.

had some 'concerns' about daughter wednesday's pregnancy too! she had to go get a shot last week because she is RH-negative (like me!) .. and the nurse alarmed her with some things she said .. i had absolutely SLEEPLESS nights! ha! no wonder i got so many 'rag chillun' created!

however, .. oh happy day .. she had her doc appointment today and he said everything is jus' fine! (i do believe he will be having a little talk with his nurse though about speaking 'scary' things to his patients!)

we are gearing up for our ART IN THE ALLEY at the end of may .. and i have three or four girlfriends from Maryland due to drive out here at the end of May .. that same weekend!

i had to 'warn' the arts council ladies tonight that ... that very weekend is the end of wednesday's 38th week of pregnancy and since she delivered sofia two weeks early .. and this is her third child .. she may very well not wait for the full '40' weeks! and who reeeeeeeeeely knows EXACT due dates!!!

ha! i've been using the 'chinese lunar calendar' trying to 'predict' BOY or GIRL .. wednesday said she had her own 'chinese' prediction today .. she went to lunch at a chinese restaurant .. her little waitress put her hand on her belly and predicted a BOY!

only time will tell .. but i'll be curious to find out! that 'calendar' thingie is too hard to predict .. i'd do it one way and it would come out GIRL .. then another and it would say BOY.

hank is convinced it is a Girl .. but i think wednesday (and i) believe it might be a boy. ABSOLUTELY no prefrence .. jus 'healthy' is our prayer. (hank does have a preference for another girl .. sofia has him wrapped around his little finger!)

well, i will be so sorry to not gather with you all .. but family first. xo

I would have adored coming for this but by the time I found out, there was no room left at the inn!
Crap!

Maybe next year, hmm?

Frannie, I sure wish your daughter would get her biopsy done!! I keep waiting to see if you post something about her. I know the anxiety that comes with waiting for them to go and to get the results back, my daughter had the same thing. All was ok with her Thank the dear Lord. She seemd perfectly calm about the whole thing, me, inside I was a wreck! I am RH negative also. I had a shot after my second daughter was born. I know I was scared when the Dr. told me about it with my first daughter. I will be willing to bet the Dr. was not happy with that nurse. She should know better. That Art in the Alley show sounds like a lot of fun. Isn't it great that it's the time of year for all the festivals again! Maybe some day we will get to meet up too. I would love that.

mary jane sweetie . thanks for your concern about daughter, kristen ... i spoke with her today .. she is 'frazzled' .. HA! talked a few weeks ago about getting MARRIED within 'days' .. and now .. her honey-man is so nervous about his own health that he is angry and not being very kind to her .. they are 'arguing' A LOT! she surely has put off that wedding!! i told her that he is just so scared of dying! year's ago he had an aneurism on his heart .. was operated on .. successfully, but they told him he only had about ten years before his veins would weaken .. that was about 17 or 18 years ago .. and he is waaaaaaaay overdue for something to fail. they have talked about perhaps he could even lose his legs. i told her that jimmy is just 'scared' and this is how he is reacting .. taking his fear and anger out on those he loves. she is at her wit's end .. and god knows .. has possible troubles looming for her .. and all the fear that comes along with it. we simply cannot live their lives for our children .. but we sure do feel their pain!

i have to take it one day at a time .. or lose what little mind i have left!

AND THE BEAT GOES ON! XO
