Patricia, I hope you are feelinh better after your fall, have been thinking about you. I can't wait til you are able to talk to my animals, I am having minor trouble with Shelby, as you have probably read on here we have a new litter of pups so I guess she is just feeling left out but we have given her alot of extra attention. she seems depressed to me, maybe I am just "reading" too much into it, I just don't know. Anyway, sure hope you are better.

Hi Farm Sista's! Sorry I haven't been around here in awhile, life sure can get busy! But I'm glad to have checked in this morning and to find this awesome thread! Being a animal lover I am thrilled to read of sweet Patricia's ability to communicate with animals (and people). Thank you so much for sharing your insight here! I too am picturing you the blue light of healing and glad to know that you are feeling some better!
A few years back hubby and I fostered an orphaned (her mom died hours after giving birth), half blind colt. We helped care for her at the farm and then brought her to our home next door. It was always such a joy to interact with her. We did the bottle feedings and training to bucket and so on until she became too big for our small acre and inadequate fencing. The owner wouldn't help with the expense of better fencing and we couldn't afford it on our own after building a place of shelter for "Lexie". Sadly. she went back to the farm and we visited often.
There was some things that happened in our friendship with the farmer and his tenants and we ended up having to walk away from the farm. Which broke our hearts as we loved all the horses but especially this colt. It wasn't long before he gave our filly away as he never wanted her due to the eye deformity. I would give anything to be able to find her and see her just once more. The owner sold the farm and moved and never told us where he placed her. I think of "Lexie" often and wonder if she still remembers us and knows how much we loved her? Not having had the chance to say goodbye makes her memory bittersweet.
I've also lost my beloved "Penny" to cancer, she was the sweetest dog I'd ever had and she too lives on in my heart and memory.
Once again, thank you Patricia for sharing with us. This is such an interesting subject and a great source of comfort to those of us who have been blessed to share our lives with animals and loved ones.
Hugs!

Sher - what a sad but sweet story about your horse. I really hope you find her again someday. I would bet she would remember you immediately.
Thinking of you, Patricia, and hoping your aches and pains are improving. I look forward to hearing about your meeting with Aunt Jenny! Have fun, gals! |

jpbluesky, we're looking forward to meeting, too. Gonna load up the car with goodies (including Stu) and go to Provo. I have some surprises for Jenny. Shhhhh. Don't tell.... We'll let you know about the wild times. It's supposed to rain. Hope it doesn't rain too hard. She's driving further than I am.
Again, thanks everybody for the good wishes. My bruises and scrapes are healing so I'm pretty much back to just the "usual" fibro pain amd fatigue. Fooey.
The University has asked Stu to do a 4 week (I think) class on the science behind the movie "What the Bleep DO We Know" which is a fabulous movie that not a lot of people know about concerning cosmology and theoretical physics, time, dimensions and so on. Anybody seen it?
Love, P

Oh Patricia, that would be so wonderful! I wish that I could call you, but unfortunately we do not have long distance service due to trying to make ends meet on disability. I'm so sorry as I would be most interested in learning anything about my sweet Lexie and darling Penny. They will always remain close to my heart.
Bless you, for all the joy and comfort you bring to others!

hapyhrt ~ can you receive calls? I could call you. It's better if we talk "in person" but if not, I'll see what I can do. Where do you live in NY? I used to live in Oneida for a few years.

Patricia, well all I can say is I'm blown away!! I am so thankful to you for your posts and the education. And it's not just on the animal level. You are providing a wonderfull service for us all that is expansive in so many ways. I am a BIG believer in energy and I loved your explanations. Simple, to the point, and very easy to understand. All of you westerners seem more open to the whole science and spiritual connection. Down here in the south, well, let's just say, I know and believe alot of things that I keep to myself. So I'm thrilled to know there are many kindred spirits among my farmgirl friends. Keep talking, sharing and educating!
I was so sorry to read you had fallen (I know the feeling), but glad you are improving. I'm thankful that you have a loving mate. What a blessing!
I saw "What the Bleep..", the movie your husband is giving the class on in Hawaii! I loved parts of it and didn't like others. It caused such a stir! Which was a good thing b/c then people start to ask questions. Would love to know what Stu has to say, a four week class would be awesome!
Now, I need to go talk to my dog,Chloe. Since my accident I think she can't figure out exactly what the problem is and I think she needs to know it's a temporary situation.
Again, I'm grateful to you for sharing your gift with us all and I will be sending blue lights everytime I see Utahfarmgirl.

Patricia, Can you help? I have two concerns. I have a cat that keeps getting injured. And I am not sure if it’s environmental or self inflicted. I also own two dogs and I feel like the worst mom ever. I want them to be with me all the time but feel like I can’t handle them. Anything you could tell me would be greatly appreciated!

Kim, thank you for the kind words. If I can help somebody understand these things, I'm happy. There is so much ignorance, superstition and misunderstanding to battle.
Actually, Stu is giving the course here in Utah at U of Utah, but if anybody in Hawaii is willing to have us, we'll go! Stu taught theoretical physics and mechanical engineering on the post-grad level at Cambridge in England for 24 years. I call him "Mr. Wizard" and am always asking him questions like, "Mr. Wizard, why is it that the older I get, the faster time seems to go by?" He's great at answering in terms I can understand.
He says he will answer any questions any of my Farmgirl friends have on "What the Bleep", cosmology, the Universe, Evolution vs. Creation (owch) or anything anybody wants to know, so here's your chance to get a Cambridge education for free. He's amazing, and he cooks too!
As for Chloe, I will be happy to do a short reading for any of my farmgirl sisters who want one. Let me know and I'll give you my phone number.
love, P

Patricia, OH MY!!! a cooking wizard!!! double blessings! Maybe you can ask the wizard this question...Why are "awake men " so hard to find? Are they really such "rare birds"?
I'm going to go and rent the movie and watch it again and then I'll be ready to fire some questions. Just to be able to communicate with someone on that level will be so interesting. That's what I miss most about Hawaii is my 2 intelectually stimulating friends. We would talk for hours every night. I miss that. Small talk is so boring.
oops, back to the topic. Yes, please email me your number. I have free long distance and will call you for a talk about chloe.

Jenny, I can explain itthe way Stuie explained it to me. Think of your life as a table top. When you're born, it's blank. Nothing on it. Then you have your first experience, so now there's a glass on the table. With every experience you have, another glass is put on the table and as this happens, the space between the glasses gets smaller, making the illusion of smaller space (time). Do you get it? If not, Stu can explain it further.
BTW, let's talk on the phone to make plans for Tuesday. Email me your phone number and I'll call you. Woo Hoo!
Tanya Hansen came over yesterday with her girls for dinner. She was in town for an LDS convention. We had the best time. Stu cooked and made her a loaf of his fabulous bread. She brought me canned fruit and jam and the three of them picked out Snackeesacks in return. (Don't worry - she wanted your chicken one, but I told her it was taken! Maybe I should make more chicken ones...) We had a great time and took photos which we'll post when we get them developed.
Can't wait to meet you, Farmgirl!
Love, P

How fun Patricia..and I am glad that you saved back my chicken tote!!! I MUST have it..haha I will email you my phone #. I will be gone to a family birthday party tonight, and then will be home most of the day tomorrow. Having a couple birhtday parties here though..the best time to get me tomorrow will be probably between like 11am and 2pm if that works for you.. I have a kid party after school for youngest daughter's birthday and then will have a family party that night at 7:30. It would be hard to talk much when I have a house full of people. I have to run to the next town in the morning tomorrow for some last minute party stuff..may be home before 11, but for sure by then. I have been planning out what all to bring up that way!! OR>>>if you are a nightowl like me you could always call late tonight. after 9:30 I should be home and the kids put to bed and all..I am up as late as midnight about every single night so if that works better for you you could call then. I need to go to Lindon to look at a cow too...and may stop at the DI in American fork so if it is easier to meet up that way a little more I can do that. Up to you. Anyway..I look forward to talking and for sure to meeting you!!! How fun that you got to meet Tanya!! talk to you later!!!

Kim, I mentioned Snackeesacs somewhere as something I'm willing to trade for things. Here's the story: my daughter Christina started her own clothing line when we lived in L.A. It's called Snackee ( you can't say it without smiling). She uses American sweatshop-free manufacturers and 10% of each piece or line goes to an appropriate charity. For instance, the sleepwear $ goes to research on Sleep Disorders like Sleep Apnea (which her old mom has), her pet line goes to the Burbank animal rescue, etc. I make her line of tote bags and purses called Snackeesacks. Each one is a one-of-a-kind and made from best grade cotton, linen and dupioni silk. Each one is my own design and made by me. We sold them in L.A. to boutiques but most people snapped them up as I made them so we didn't get many out into stores, ha ha. Chrissy moved to SLC with us and bought her own home so she has had her hands full and hasn't done anything lately with Snackee yet. When she's settled, she'll relocate everything here. She's also taking care of her Dad, who is suffering from cancer. He's living in the apartment in her two-family, so she has her hands full, bless her little heart.
I took a bunch of photos that didn't come out very well that Aunt Jenny has because I'm trading her Snackeesacks for canned goods.
And that's the Snackee story!

...and now I know the rest of the story! Thanks for taking the time to explain. Do let us know when you are up and running again. It sounds like a very interesting concept for a business.
My daughter just rented "what the bleep" for me, so i'm down for the count. popcorn (from soapmaven) and pen and pad in hand. I'll post questions on the movie discussion post. It's already getting interesting. tell stu thanks again!
an added note: All you farmgirls sound so busy that I'm certain somehow you all get 48 hours in a day. I've been reading MJ's back issues and I am convinced she not only has the extra hours but she MUST have 2 brains!!! All that smarts can't be in just one!

Kim, when Snackee is up and running again, I'll for sure let you know. Thanks for the interest.
I'm so glad you'll be watching the movie! Trust me, you'll have millions of questions. Luckily, Stuie has millions of answers, lol. Not all of them the ones we want to hear, tho.
Please post your comments on the "What the Bleep" thread Clare started. That way, we'll literally all be on the same page.
Thanks! Happy watching!

A huge heartfelt and sincere thank you to Patricia for her wonderful kindness in doing a reading for me. She is a very warm, gentle and sweet woman and I believe her to be extremely gifted. I feel I have indeed made a new special friend and cannot begin to show her my appreciation and gratitude. Today, I have found a bit of "peace". Thank you (((Patricia)))!
