Hi!
These are the dresses I made Nora. The green and pink one was the first outfit that I have ever made and the blue one is the second. I didn't get the pattern perfect on either one, but I am getting close! The blue one has a tuck/ruffle at the bottom and I might have to make another so Nora can walk without tripping or tack on some ribbons to hold up the front at least. I think both would be cute.
PS Sorry the pictures aren't the greatest- I had to use my old cheapo camera as my nice camera is out of batteries :(

I love the dresses. I just love little girl dresses and shoes generally. I had two boys and am girly girl deprived! Coincidentally I was a the Peddlers Mall today and picked up a big envelope of patterns and there are one or two old patterns for girl size 3 i believe. Do you want them?

Thanks Sue, Heather!
I think the are prettier having a different top fabric and different bottom fabric. I am really pleased with them. And I would have payed $7-10 a piece for those in the store and the most expensive fabric was the butterfly fabric of which I hardly used any. The others came off $1 or $2 a yard tables in Wal-Mart and the black and white was actually given to me by my mom. :D
I got a brand new pattern yesterday that I am DYING to make. YAY! I am bitten by the sewing bug!

Those are really sweet. I love how you combined more than one fabric. I bet Nora looks so adorable in them. Little girls are so much fun to sew for. I miss sewing for my girl who is now 15.

I will send the two patterns I found tomorrow or Friday. They are very sweet looking. they look to be from the early sixties. One is from the Kentucky Farmer Pattern Department (size two) and the other is by a company called advance in a size 3. I haven'g gone through each piece but both have instructions and with a little luck all the pieces will be int the (slightly worn) envelopes. Hope they will be fun and useful for you!
