Frankie, the very mean rooster left us yeaterday after attacking my very patient husband one too many times. Frankie is now pecking out a life on the loose at a friend's ranch. While he was mean to us, he always was very protective of "the girls" and kept them safe from all (perceived) dangers (like us humans). Happy harem to you, Frankie! Sharon
Oh wow, Sharon, sorry to hear that Frankie was no fun to be around, but it's good you could find him a home. Some people would just "put him in the pot," and not bother so I guess I big congrats is in order that you found a place for him!
