loved reading those books as a little girl..glad to see another farm girl enjoying the story. it was one of my favorite stories as a kid. but then I lived only 2 doors down from our towns library back then..and I spent a lot of time reading things like that.
I loved all her books too. We didnt get toys or such anytime cept for xmas and b-day. And then we got 1 thing . IS funny --i never felt like i needed a ton of toys like kids nowadays . Tv was for an hour at the most on the weekends. I also got to go to the libary once week and would get an armload of books. Really appreciated the libary and I still get an armload of books nce a week :P
