If anyone would like to see I tried my hand at posting some pics on my blog. The pics on there did not come out fully and to see the full photos you have to click on them to pop up in another window. I need to practice on how to do these correctly.

Some of these were of my garden last year and there are a few misc. others. I'll post more as I get the hang of things.

Oh, and when you click on the photos they are on the photobucket site. There are ads on those pages and I am not responsible for that content. Esp. the bikini clad ladies, and no, they are not me. LOL

Lainey!! Great photos, you sure live in a beautiful part of Kentucky--love the Ravenna and Waco areas!

Hey! Maybe I've seen you at the Circleville Pumpkin Festival a few times...it's our annual haunt since I was 4. My mom grew up not very far up the road in Grove City, Ohio and they always went. So MUCH fun!!!!

Thanks for sharing!!!

Thanks Marcy and Jonni. I love it here and I've lived in the same area most all my life. Jonni, I enjoy going to the Pumpkin Show at Circleville and also to the Festival of Leaves in Bainbridge. That is such a pretty area in the fall. I love stopping at the Amish Bakery Goods store near Chillicothe too. Ravenna and Irvine are not too far from me at all, I can actually get to Irvine quicker than Richmond.

Thanks Nancy! I love looking at your blog and all the photos there. I'm going to start posting more pics, I've got to figure out why it only posted part of the pic on my blog.

Thanks Miss Wilma! Let's see, we have several apple trees, pear trees, a few small peach trees, cherry trees, some tame (thornless) blackberries, blueberries, golden raspberries, and different varieties of grapes. I know I'm forgetting something but I can't remember what. This orchard was started many years ago by the people who sold us the house. They also kept bees but moved the hives shortly after we moved in. We don't utilize it as fully as we should I know.

I'm excited about trying those pumpkins this year. I'm sure mine won't be nearly as large as the ones in the pictures though. I remember when I was younger that my grandmother grew some of the larger ones and people in the neighborhood came around to see them. She had a great Halloween display that year. My husband keeps shaking his head and wondering what I'm going to do with them.
