There are days when we can't get any tractors into the field because it's been raining. I blogged about the things that we do when that happens.

What do you guys do?

honey-doo .. rain never much did stop me from goin' and doin' .. even OUTSIDE! UNLESS .. thunder and lightening are visiting upon that rain! THEN .. i love to sit on one of the porches with honey hunk .. and do some hand-sewin' and readin'. rainy days are also good 'antiquin' days! or visitin' with friends days!

Get frustrated and pace back and forth in the house bouncing from one project to another.

To stop that, I'll typically just hop in the car and go to an antique mall or Homegoods or something....

We've had so much rain and freezing rain lately that it just seems like a regular ole day. i usually try to get some sewing done, and of course it is always a good opportunity to organize my sewing room, but i find sewing usually outranks organizing any day....I'm just waiting for the last of the snow to leave, so i can wedge a few things in the ground.....

I'll go ahead and substitute snow for rain. It is snowing here in North Idaho again today. It makes me want to bake and cook. Bakeover maybe, since that's a little of both.

I love to feel cozy inside on a rainy day. I do needlework, or get on the computer for way too long, or bake. And then there is always the cleaning!

I love to bake homemade yummies like banana bread, and I end up cleaning a lot as well. Spring cleaning, summer cleaning, fall cleaning, winter cleaning. There always seems to be something that needs extra attention (Or dare I say it? Attention in the first place?)

If there is a fire place around I love to have a roaring fire and sit down with some embroidery or a good book, but usually- its cleaning. How sad is that? But I guess it is better to use up my rainy days on cleaning instead of the bright, beautiful days!
