Hey, farmgals! I have about 2 1/2 yards of vintage ecru crocheted trim to barter. The trim has kind of a ladder chain along the top and triangular shaped points hanging down. Measuring at the top, each point is 3" across and goes down to a rounded 3/4" at the bottom; each point measures about 5" long from the top. The points are solid in the middle, with chains draping to a scalloped edge all around each point. Hard to describe! But very pretty. I purchased it to trim along the front of my corner cupboard shelves and then decided not to cut it up -- I think it would be great as pillow trim or some other sewing project. What I'd like in trade is vintage or vintage-look cotton fabric suitable for aprons, barkcloth, handmade soaps, or . . . what do you have that I can't live without? Hope to hear from you.

Hi Bramble -- I don't know if you are getting my emails or not. Maybe I'm being bounced into junk file? Anyway, I need to hear from you. Thanks. KL

I got a wonderful X-mas card today from Bramble - I feel waaaaaayyyyyyy honored! And she said her computer is not well these days (crashing, crashing) - that may be why we have not heard from her. But, Katie, I have fabric - some old and some new that you may like. Maybe after the holidays I could send you some. My computer does not let me send emails (that is another topic completely), but if you are on the mail art list ? I might have your address. I would like the crochet trim you mention.

Thanks for the information, jpbluesky. I will try to snail-mail Bramble. My trade with her is underway, so I can't trade with you. But I'll be going through more of my stuff after the new year, so watch for more barter offers -- I'd love to add to my fabric stash!
