i find that my 'sweet annie' from last year is quite brittle now .. it's been hanging up all year .. and i have been noticing that when i walk under it ... i get a shower of seeds! (i think they are seeds!) .. anyhoo .. i would send more to you .. but i'll wait until it is 'fresh' this springtime .. and 'try' to send you a few 'shoots' to plant in your garden ... sometimes that works and sometimes it doesn't .. especially when it has spent three days in-transit in a box!
every morning .. i go outside .. get on my knees .. run my hands over the grass and 'smell' for the arrival of SWEET ANNIE.. i usually get a 'bumper' crop every other year .. and THIS is the EVERY OTHER!!! keep your fingers crossed!
p.s. gurlz .. IF i do get a bumper crop .. come autumn .. i'll let you know 'the harvest is in' .. and i'll be happy to send one of those $5. postie boxes full of freshly cut sweet annie .. have to wait t'il it has 'gone to seed' though!
