Hello!!
As a city girl, I have a few potted plants that are my substitute for a real garden. One of my gerbera daisies is dying a slow death, it seems, and hasn't seemed to pull out of this slump its in. It's not putting out anymore blooms, and the leaves are slowly knocking off, while it also has a strange white film on the leaves. Any gerbera lovers out there with any suggestions? I can't seem to save it, even with my apparently missing green thumb.
HELP!!

I do know that slugs love to eat gerbera daisies as mine would succomb to the slugs all the time. I don't know if what you call a film as slime or powdery stuff, but you could check here

It says clematis, but it gives a good description of a while slime. Or you could check out

Could the white stuff be powdery mildew?

Yes, it does sound like powdery mildew. Do you have the plants outside? I'd chuck the yucky-looking one because you don't want whatever it is to spread to the others. And there are so many more plants in the world waiting to be taken home by you!

Thanks for the advise. I was thinking about chucking it, but it put out the most gorgeous blooms. So sad!!
Those website were really good references. It's going to be good to know in the future!
