oooh you lucky gal! I came back from vacation and my room is a mess again...4 boxes of fabric with no place to put the contents, and a bunch of stuff I really should put away and/or finish...
I did clean out my closet though on Monday!...rofl..

I was cleaning up my crafting area last night, which is actually one whole wall of our living room. It does feel good to be organized, doesn't it?

Oooooh, that sounds good.
I need to do that--I have plans, I do, to add some shelving and have a place for everything...

I am always impressed that someone has managed to organize their sewing room. Mine was organized once, when i first moved in six years ago, but now, it's just a madhouse. Ah well, I can dream, it might happen again. Karin

I am excited for you. I have been organizing mine for what seems forever. I get an area cleared and I have to start a project right away.

My craft room became a nursery.

So I have rubber totes with fabric in them, some items under the crib (dust ruffle hides them). The closet has shelves and this is where I store scrapbooking goodies, photographs and such. I tuck supplies for sewing here and there.

My sewing table is in our "quiet room". I long for a craft room, but am thrilled to have baby in there instead.

Laura, My children also slept in my craft rooms for years. Then it seem all in a day the grew up and moved out to find their way in the big world. Enjoy that baby as all too soon that nursery will again become a craft room.

My sewing room is also my laundry room...oh my. IT is never completly clean or organized. Parts of it get done, but I never seem to get the whole room done at any one time. sigh.
I really need to work on it. It is by far the worse room in the house right now..and could be sorta cute if I ever got all the way done.

Mine will be organize since we are moving this will be my first room, then our master bedroom, then kitchen. My laundry room just big enough for the appliances and one person. I will use the top of the washer and dryer to fold clothes. I do try hard to keep it organize! Good for you, it sure does make things simpler, when a person is organize.
