Yes folks, this tomato was sitting on my very warm sunny counter for nearly a week (and wasn't rotting) when I cut into it look what I found!! jo

Oh my!!! I would for sure plant it...it really WANTS to grow!! It would have freaked me out alot to cut into it though!

I think the sun is so bright in my kitchen it kind of shone through the skin, it happened to both of the tomatoes, I'll post a couple more pics later! jo

Good to see you post Jo. I had one tomato with a couple of sprouts late last summer. I put it in the compost bin in the garage, think the worms consumed it before it sprouted anymore, though. It had been on the counter for a week or more when I cut into it. Did you get my email about my new chocolate lab girl? Ronna |

I think that you should plant them too. But if the tomato came from a store it is a hibrid and might. Each seed could revert to a different tomato type. It would be inteeresting to see what happens.
