It's been awhile since we did an auction and the last one was a lot of fun. The auction will end Sunday March 30th at 10pm Eastern time. I know that is a fast turn around but my baby (2 months old) just had a tumor removed from her leg last week. The biopsy report is due tomorrow and there is a chance that I have to go back to the hospital with her early next week (see family blog for details). I will be doing another one soon (as long as I'm not at the hospital) of vintage items and linens.
I'm posting below the fabric and sewing supply lots along with the starting bid price. The price DOES include shipping. Please email me with your bids including the item number you are interested in. I will update bid prices as the bids come in. I take paypal, RME, and you can always mail me the money (I trust farmgirls!). Please remember that all the prices include shipping so your bid is your final price with no other fees. If you have questions feel free to ask. The auction will end March 30th @ 9pm Eastern time.
1. Flat rate box of home decor fabric samples. Top bid is at $12. Sold
2.Flat rate box of home decor fabric samples. The price does include the shipping. I have made some really beautiful table runners out of these for family and friends. They also make some cute vintage looking stuffed animals. My main project with them has been quilted Christmas stockings. I have lots of people ask me to make them for them every year. Oh, Emily, I am so sorry to hear about your daughter. I have often wondered how you were doing but I have been off line for over a month due to our move. Is there anything I or my organization can do to assist you with anything? Do you have an etsy or anything for your auction in case one of our seamstresses would like to buy anything? Bless your precious family, Hugs, Pauline
Pauline- I the way we have done auctions here in the past is to email the auctioneer (Emily in this case) your bid and for which lot. Then she will post the current bid and at the closing date the winners are announced. Then you make arrangements to pay with the auctioneer. Hope that helps!
Thanks for the hug Pauline! I've been away from the computer a lot lately myself. Please feel free to tell anyone you know who sews about this auction. I know you have my email address so if they are not registered forum members and don't want to be just have them email me their bids. I trust your friends! Everything on my Etsy site is already made and ready to go so if anyone is interested in something on there please encourage them to buy!
Alee, Thanks for clarifying how it works. I probably should have explained it better in the first post since it has been a few months since we've done one.
Thank you both! Emily I will be trying to keep up with your blog to find out the outcome and pray all is perfectly well knowing the Lord is working through the situation. God bless you and your loved ones, Hugs, Pauline
I forgot to mention that there is enough fabric in each lot to make 2-3 long table runners. I also broke up the lots into cordinating colors and textures so that you would not have to add any additional fabric to them. 95% of them have also been washed already. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Lot #1 has one bid on it currently.
I seem to be having issues with emails from the forum coming through to me. Right now I only have one bid on item #1. If anyone else has tried to email me I've not recieved it. Please try posting on here as well as emailing me. Hopefully this will work it's self out soon. Thanks! Emily
