Hi Ladies!

These times can be scary and hard on us all. I think all of us have felt the pinch from the economy, whether it be at the gas pumps, grocery store, or in our jobs.

But you know what? I feel optimistic. I feel hopeful. And I feel strong! Do you know why? Because I know I have your love and support, and I know that with the knowledge that we all can share, we will be just fine.

I feel really good about a garden this summer, canning, foraging, and making do. I don't feel the urge to go out and buy gobs of things without value.

Looking through this summer and into the fall and winter, I can't help but be joyful and excited. I feel like any tightness is just a challenge to me to become more economical and thrifty! Yay! I always love challenges!

I have made the choice to find the good in every situation! I feel so energized! I just wish there wasn't snow on the ground outside! LOL

What a happy upbeat post! I love it. You know I have always ,I know this sounds weird, liked a challange, especially in the monthly budget dept. When we were younger we got some credit card debt. It wsn't even a drop in the bucket by todays standards(like $2,000) but I hated it. I got us out and have kept us out for over over 35 yrs. now. I can't tell you the satisfaction I got from that. I still love to budget and save us money. So I know exactly how you feel. If you keep an upbeat attitude and believe you can do it, you will!

There can be no happiness if the things we believe in are different from the things we do. Freya Stark
