One day it is 50 degrees, the next it is 35, and today it is snowing. Again.
We have green grass and flowers and yet it is snowing a fairly heavy snow outside. I am so ready for spring sun and green grass for Nora to play in!

Alee I was thinking the same thing today. Isnt it weird how there are such extremes. I planted my peas the other day, now its snowy. I really just wish it would stick to sunny/and a little warm ; ) . My aunt told me it was 74 at her house yesterdat.
I have heat envy ;)

I'm right there with all of you. I am so jealous each time I read that some one is planting or their flowers are blooming. I have still yet to find my gardens under the snow piles. An this too shall pass. Hopefully soon!!!!!

SPeaking of your weather there, I received a box of goodies I ordered from MJF the other day. It was stuffed with The Lewiston newspaper! So,I got the newspaper out and flattened it and put it together, and had so much fun reading about your area. The front page photo was so pretty - of snow on the Palouse, but in patches, with the gold ground showing in other spots. So lovely, but definitely a winter photo. But you know Spring is near! It is almost April, so soon your snow will be gone. Hang on gals!

Everything was budding and looking like spring and we got 4 inches of snow last night and it's going at it again right now. We are supposed to get even more by tomorrow. This is certainly weird for this part of Washington!

What an adventure on the way to the farm this morning! I almost got stuck in a drift along with another car that wasn't going anywhere anytime soon. Six inches last night and it's blowing like crazy! Truly a winter day out there on the 27 of March...Jpbluesky, how funny to read the paper...now that's recycled!

Annika- I ALWAYS believe in our lovely spring weather, I get the garden cleaned out, leaves into the compost and then it snows!!! Must have been why my neighbors laughed at me doing it last year as they walked by;) I also tried to plant flowers last year before Ren Fair weekend and that was a fatal mistake for the flowers...this year I will start with greens and potted things. ok, so it isn't just me.... I swear, my poor tulips are sooooo confused... it's warm sunshine and then it snows, then it gets warm again then it snows,,,yadda yadda yadda....and now it is suppose to snow another 4-6 inches...uugghh! I have all these seedlings sprouted and now I am trying to figure out what to do with them cuz they have out grown their little starter pots....I am thinking of getting some big plastic tubs and filling them w/10-12inches of potting soil and growing them in the guest bedroom till it is safe to put them outside....which from the looks of things could be another 4-6 weeks! aacckk! Make mental note...don't start seeds so early up here in the Pacific Northwest!
