We just got word that they are sending our 17 month old grandson - Connor- to Vanderbilt Childrens Hospital in Nashville TN. His liver is enlarged to almost 3 x normal size and they have found a spot on it. PLEASE PRAY FOR HIM AND US. This has been a tough year.
Our yougest daughter is on her 3rd round of a rare cervical cancer that spreads rapidly. She is pregnant with her second child due in July and refusing treatment until she has the baby. Her first baby will be 1 in July.
Now our second daugher is going through this with her baby boy........... They said Connor has lost 3 pounds in one week even though he is eating well. Something about the liver enzyemes may not be working properly. It is so hard to see my daughter, she is so worried and she will not talk about it.
I am so sad for you and your family that you all are going through this. I'll be praying for both your daughters healing and also your baby grandsons healing. Remember God can make a way where there seems to be no way! You're in my thoughts and prayers!

As a mother of girls and a grandmother myself I can imagine the worry and frustration that your family must be going through right now. You worry about your children when they are growing up and think you will be glad when they finally grow up so you can stop worrying about them. HA!! Worrying just begins. I try to remember what a former pastor said in one of his sermons--"Instead of worrying, we aught to pray", and it appears that that is what you are doing. My prayers are with your family as well. so many prayers going heavenward for your sweet family .. there is NOTHING worse on the face of this earth than when our children and grandchildren are ill.
