Which do you like better and why? I have only shopped at Costco and they seem pretty good in variety and organics. I can usually find what I need there at good prices.
Thanks.
Cheers, Heather

I do hear that Costco has more organics. I shop at Sams.. I had gotten scammed about 10 years ago and it totally screwed up my credit and lots of checks bounced- even after clearing it all up I can't get a Costco card. So I take what I can get.. Sam's club is it. I keep emailing them about selling more organic items..

I use Costco because it's closer and they have a gas station - sometimes 20 cents cheaper than in town. Plus, if I put gas on my cc I get a rebate at the end of the year. Not much, but it's nice little surprise. |

I go to Costco when I can...havn't been to a Sam's club. There is one just as close as Costco...but I was more familiar with Costco. They are both an hour and 1/2 away. I plan to get up there on WEds I think this week..spring break for the kids ..and me too...so we can go stock up.

I have tried both, and prefer Costco. Their variety of organics was top notch and the prices were pretty competitive. The store was very clean and easy to navigate. I thought Sam's was a little dirty and way too cluttered-just like Walmart tends to be.

I can't speak for south of the border, but Costco here has the best return policy of any store in Canada. I had a washer with a one year warranty that quit working after 14 months...figures eh? Costco returned it, no problem at all. Same with my Mom's camera. For that reason alone I make all major purchases there.

Costco definitely! We don't have Sam's Clubs around here but I've been to one. Love Costco the best - they have great meat and produce. Lots of organics especially in the spice aisle. And I get a great deal on olive oil for making soap.

We are retired military. We saw alot of both. I think, it truly depends on your area. But when I had both available, I shop both. They had alot of items the other did not have. I thought, it was a good thing. today, I like costco meats. just depends on what they are asking for it.

I like Costco, especially the cheaper gas. We have never had any problems with any products we have bought from there and their food always feels wholesome (I guess it depends on what you buy though! LOL). I am not opposed to Sam's Club. My family used to shop there when I was much younger. I really enjoy buying in bulk and feel it saves us a lot of money over all.

Who owns Costco and what does it cost for a mambership?
I am a Sam Club member.
But after reading that Costco carries organics, I may use both! |
