My parents and DH and I went to this winery on Saturday. It was great! I highly recommend it to anyone in the Louisville area. The owners were the nicest people and we had a great time. We tasted so many wines, and it was really a bargain at $3 per person. Seriously, they give you a very generous sample of each variety. We didn't even have time to try them all, but probably tasted 12 and had to stop before the last 4 or 5. They also have an enormous black Bouvier des Flandres dog that will be happy to eat the cracker crumbs at your feet :)

So if you are in the area and like this kind of thing, I think it is worth the time. It is a little out of the way, but a beautiful drive out there, too!

I love Bouvier's. We had one a security dog at the hospital I worked at in AZ. His name was Lucky. Such a sweetheart.

The winery looks very cool. Did you take a bottle or two home?

Toni, this sounds fun--and I'm not very far from Louisville/Indiana area...where exactly is it? Do you have a link that I can go to?

I love wine...and bouviers, so it wouldn't be too hard to have a good time for me, I guess

Jonni~the link is at the bottom of the first post. We were coming from Bardstown and it took about 40 minutes to get there. I honestly can't tell you how to get there, but I am sure there are good directions on the website. I can tell you that they are having some kind of wildflower walk through the vineyards on April 5 with live music that I really wish I could go to, but I have to be in TN. Sounds like alot of fun, though. Let me know what you think of the place!

Duh...for some reason, I thought that was your tagline!

Thanks for the info--I looked at the directions, and it's really simple..in fact, would only be about an hour and 30 minutes for us from No. Kentucky...no more than going to Lilly's on Bardstown Road.

April 5th sounds like a lot of fun! I think it might be a great thing to do to "usher" in Spring!!!
