Remember when I told you all about the concert I had allowed dd to go to in Hollywood? It was to see this German boy-band called Tokio Hotel and they are so hot in Europe that tv and magazine cameras followed them here. When dd got home, one of her friends in Germany emailed her and told her that she had seen her on tv there when the tv station had interviewed her and several others while standing in line for the concert. Then this same friend found dd's picture in one of their fan magazines and mailed the magazine to her.

DD was in school when the mail came yesterday and I just couldn't wait to see it, so I opened it up and there she was with two of her friends holding up this blanket with one of the band members face on it! Of course, it was all in German and I couldn't read it. I had to wait for dd to come home from school to interpret.

It was such a kick to see her in a magazine. It's kind of exciting.

how fun for her .. a moment she will remember forever! my daughter, kristen, still talks about and HAS a 'sweaty towel' that Mick Jagger tossed into the audience years ago at one of his concerts! funny how the little things thrill teenagers. all your daughter's friends must be chattering all about it! xo

Great idea, Alee. I really want to keep the magazine intact, though. So, it would have to be a good-sized scrap book. Maybe a memory box would work better. I'm not a scrap booker/stampin-up kind of person. All of my memorabilia is in different drawers, boxes, envelopes, books and bible. A designated box would be the easiest for me to stick with.

Your funny, Heather! Her friends are all excited for her. She's been showing everybody. But then so am I. I actually took the magazine to our staff meeting at work yesterday to show everybody. I just couldn't help myself!
