Does anyone have any recommendations for a good organic gardening book? I have one bookstore here and looked on their website but there are quite a few, so if I could be pointed in a good direction I would appreciate it. I have a Texas Gardening Handbook but it promotes the use of fertilizers and chemicals that I'm trying to get away from. Thanks
Kristi, I lived in SanAntonio for 5 years, I love Texas! The best source I have found for organic Gardening information is Rodale books. Rodale is the gentlemen who created the word "organic". His family still runs his farm and test gardens in Pennsylvania. I also subscribe to organic gardening magazine, which they also publish. www.organicgardening.com Marainne
Thanks Marianne I'll have to check that out. Yes I love Texas too. Just the heat is tricky to deal with when your trying to grow vegetables. This year I went on vacation and came back everything was fried even with someone watering for me.
