We've begun construction on our pond that will supply water to the irrigation system...

Good for you guys, Jennifer! That's the one thing I don't have that I really, really wish for - a pond. Just a little one, nothing huge. There are several holes on our property where some previous owner tried to dig a pond, but none of them hold water. :(
