Cactus Cuties are ages 8 to 13.
We have heard our national anthem butchered, botched, hollered, screamed and warbled by all kind of "artists" in the past few years. Hardly anyone sings it the way it was written... until now! Just wait until you see and hear the "Cactus Cuties".
This is from the Texas Tech-vs-University of Texas basketball game last month. The group is called the "Cactus Cuties" and they are adorable as they sing acapella.

Hey Frannie! Somebody just sent that youtube link to me today. Those little ladies' lungs are "loaded for bear", aren't they? Imagine how even more beautiful their voices will be in a few years when they have matured a bit? Incredible talent! Thanks for sharing. Hugs to all, Nance

OMG! Those little ladies have some major talent. Not only was it acapella, but perfectly on key, and the Soprano sent chills down my spine!
WOW, I'm surprised I didn't get the link yet...very wonderful. This made me smile so big because I'm teaching K-8 the national anthem....and the history behind it. TOO many americans don't know it anymore and its getting to be more and more!!! Or they have no freakin clue what it's about. Sorry this is a huge issue for me. Our wonderful country has so much great history and so much to offer in the present. So great to see lil girls singing it and in harmony.....wonderful!!!
