TJ MAX!! It's for you to do 'reports' of books you are reading .. for quotes you especially love .. etc. AND .. it was only THREE BUCKS! i got one for each daughter and TWO for me .. i often wish i had journaled every book i've ever read .. but i'm gonna' start NOW .. and even go back and re-read the janice holt giles series (great 'fodder' for country dollies!!!) if you have a TJ near you .. go check it out. (i bought all our e-town store had!)

ha! hank sez we should have stock at TJ max .. i do love their books and specialty foods (makes great gifts .. jus' check the ingredients and make sure where it was made before buying any particular product!) i also love their little 'gifties' .. i got two PRECIOUS dresses for sofia there last week too .. and soooo reasonably priced for the quality of most of what they sell.

o.k. commercial for TJ max over .. sounds like i DO have stock in the company!

what are some of your fav shoppes/stores?

Would it sound really corny if I said MaryJane'sFarm? Seriously though, every night that I cuddle up with my MJF comforter and sleep on my MJF sheets I am in heaven! This is seriously the ONLY blanket that DH and I can share, otherwise we are always pulling more to our side and the other is always getting cold. I'm not sure if it is because her comforter is so nice and cozy or if it is perhaps slightly larger?

And her foods. Yum. I just made Budget Mix pancakes this morning and they turned out perfect! The most perfect batch of pancakes I have ever made!

Other than MJF, I don't really have a favorite store as I try not to buy too much...okay so the budget doesn't allow me to buy much, but I probably wouldn't anyway! LOL

I have two favorite stores...the hardware store in town (they have a lot more than hardware!), and a yarn / retro knicknack store in DeWitt, Michigan, called Lavender & Peonies (they have a website: www.lavender-peonies.com).

There is a second hand store near me, they have used furniture, bits and pieces of all kinds of things, always a treat to visit. I just came back from getting another arm load of old linens there. And I love farmers' market, that starts late spring and goes till it's too cold. It is wonderful to be able to buy locally grown organic food.
