This is the nicest forums I have ever been on...Someone has a problem...bam...solutions with a gentle hand are found...someone makes something...bam...everyone applaudes and ohs and ahhs...someone gets a goat and we all get giddy...It is such a nice change from them "angry" other forums out there.
Just had to say that...thank you!!
Cheers, Heather

Heather, I am so happy you posted that. I've been having problems with a "mean" board and I am so, so grateful that I have you guys.

Jennifer- sad isn't? I actually had to leave another forum as someone was sending threatening mean email to me and was just being rude in the forums and I even changed my user name twice and the moderators did nothing.
I think MJ's has the most opened hearted gals around and though we might not all agree, we know how to hold a conversation.
YEE HAW!!!
Cheers, Heather

Ain't it the truth girls! I've been on many boards, others can't compare to you ladies here at the farm. Bless you ALL! Rhonda

Oh I know that is what I found so freakin alluring here!!! Everyone is here with open arms hugs support and suggestions. NEVER a negative word. I was thinking while reading the tacky wedding ones where people were describing others negatively to give the full feeling of the story, that it was the first time I read anything negative :-p and it wasn't even being mean. This def sets an example for others and is rare!!! YAY FARMGIRLS you all rock.

We all rock! And what you all describe is what I am so attracted to, a genuine loving and supportive female presence. It is exactly what I need in my life and I treasure all of you!

Here here! I used to blog at this hateful, unfriendly place (a small blogging community) and it was awful. No, I certainly don't agree with everything that is said here but I appreciate the kindness that everyone has for each other! I think it's the atmosphere that MaryJane has created - after all, she is a genius! :)

I am pretty new here, but I could not agree more with everything said above. I'm looking forwards to being here for a long time and I am looking to make some good friends here. Everyone has been so very nice. Unfortunately, that isn't always the case every where else. So, thanks to MaryJane for the inspiration as to her books and everything else she has done, including this wonderful site. Take care and hugs to everyone, Marcy |

That's what I like about this site also. Everyone is friendly and it's a 'safe' site. I'm on a horse site that bad manners are not allowed and it's like home after all the other nut job horse sites! I like that I can ask questions about whatever and get some great answers.

I like how we are all from diff walks of life and faith. We can talk about religion (somewhat) or at least let our faith be known and talk politics lightheartedly and noone tries to change the other. There is RESPECT.....I think that is key and noone is better than anyone else. The "older" help the "newer" and so forth. We learn from eachother. :):) I am always telling everyone about my girls. I've been tickled pink with the tea swap and round robin letter and the quilts I bought off of Sherri and Norma Jean off of Frannie (freedom valley farm) and can't wait to buy more from others:):):) LOVE YOU GALS

That's so funny that you mention telling everybody about the "girls". I do the same thing. DH can't keep up. When ever I say so-and-so said this and so-and-so did that, he's dumbfounded and always asks who? In a small town, everybody knows everybody and I keep talking about women he doesn't know which throws him off. Sorry Frannie, I just had to tell him about your funny accident rolling down the hill while indisposed! I just couldn't stop chuckling to myself every time it came to mind.
I guess what this all means is that I feel like you all are every bit as much my friends as the ones I actually live with here and feel a very close kinship to you all. But, then, with all the support and love on this site; how could one help but to feel this way?

This is the only forum I've ever joined, my luck is that good. Of course I have gotten a slew of horrible e mail, but have learned to mark everything I don't recognize as spam. I've only been here a couple of weeks and I'm having so much fun I can hardly stand it. Everyone is so respectful of each other and the friendliness of the site amazes me. Maybe it's just because I'm an old New Englander used to lots of grouchy people and a real stay at home anyway, but this site has been such a gift to me. I love reading through everyone's posts, wonderful stories, wonderful people. Karin |

I am like Karin, I have never joined any other forum. I just love all the girls on here. It just feels like you're sitting down and having coffee with your best friends. We can talk about just about anything and I really think we all like to hear each others opinions and ideas. Some of the sites my friends have gone on are like the people just seem to be looking for a fight. I don't understand why that would be any fun!!! I just feel at home here. By the way Karin, that is how my daughter's name was spelled, it makes me smile every time I see it. There is another Karin on here too,you will think it silly of me, but to just type her name is so nice. Sorry, I got a little of course!! But, then those of you who me,know that does happen!!

Everyday you ladies make me laugh and cry, and laugh 'til I cry. This is by far my most favorite place on the internet, from Kentucky Frannie's morning jokes, to hearing about how you all care so much about all of our families. You all have so much to add and give.
