I finally got to get to the good thrift store. Actually I was looking for blankets for the dogs and maybe some 'cutter' quilts everyone is talking about. Dog blankets 50cents quilts $1.49. Posted on my strawberry Hills blog. MB

I don't see them on there, Marybeth. Love the pics of your mom, though. She sure scored some great thrift store finds. And that little retro movie theater - don't see them much anymore. I think we've finally lost them all here in Louisville.

MaryBeth, you sure did find a lot of treasures. I adore the quilts, but what REALLY took my breath away were your mother's quilt squares. Incredible and so inspiring. ... and your Mom is really cute too! Hugs...

I love those quilts! Please don't cut up the wedding ring quilt or the lap quilt right above it! They are beautiful!

MB,
My favorite quilt is the third picture down, right after the dog blanket. That is also the one in the picture with the doll right?

Yep, same quilt. It looks handmade and so many colors. Real pretty. I thought it was medium size but it is crib size, I guess. Remember that daybed I got 2 summers ago. the one I traded a scratch ticket for and it is perfect. I posted a picture then. It actually is a trundle bed--anyway--the quilts will go there. I will post a picture when I fix it up. MB
PS. The hunt is on now for more. Nancy Jo!!see what you did to me now. hehe. MB

Wow! Now I see them, Marybeth! I'm singing the theme song from 'BONANZA'! You sure hit the jackpot! This should be on the all time list of 'best thrift store days ever'.
