Ok....for those who've been bombarded all season with tons of snow, you may want to move on to another post. We are having our first snow of the season and it's beautiful! It's very light and powdery and have about 3 inches now. Whoohoo!

I am so surprised that NJ hasn't gotten more snow this year, aren't you usually bombarded with it?

I am so glad you are having a beautiful snow day! I love that first magical snow of the season!

We usually get more snow, especially in January (none this year) and February. It's been a crazy winter, we would get warm days, up to 65 degrees one day....but mostly in the 40's and rain. It seems that all around us, everyone else is getting our snow! Lol! I'm off today, so I can just look out the window and enjoy it, although I have to get milk and oj later.

WE have had more snow this year than our town has had in 15 years..and guesss what..snowing this morning again! I am more than ready for spring now. I do love to sit with a hot cup of herbal tea and read and watch it snow outside the window though.

Well, I'm in California so not much hope of seeing the white stuff here. Snow I mean! LOL! I was in Chicago last week though and was SO excited for it to snow. A sentiment that my boyfriend Dan did NOT share in the least.
I was lucky enough to get a smattering of it which was so lovely. Winter is my favorite time of year.

And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk to blossom

Judy and Bridget, I'm so glad you finally got some snow. I really don't want to shovel any more fresh stuff this year even though it is now snowing here, too. I was going to dig out one of my flower beds today (it still has 4 feet of snow on it), but I guess that won't happen. I might as well wait until it stops. Enjoy your snow day.

Yep, the East Coast seems to have gotten it, but it turned into slushy rain which is NOT good to run errands in today But it was beautiful to look at at the beginning.
