Only here would we have snow one week, tornadoes the next, and now an ice storm going on here. Still awaiting for hubby to get home from work. They let everyone else leave early but him and he lives the furthest. Ugh. Hopefully it won't get too bad here.

To my fellow KY chicks on here...how is the weather in your neck of the woods??

Hubby slipped and slide on home. Our driveway is a sheet of ice. Thank goodness I don't have to be anywhere tomorrow, but he does. I'm so ready for spring time!

We left about an hour early from work, Jessica--an attorney in Louisville that we're working a case with called and said they were leaving, UK had closed and that it was headed our way and that we should "vamoose" and so we did. I'm really glad because folks were still trying to get home at 8:30 or so. We made it JUST before it got terrible.

Hope your hubby made it home alright and is toasty warm inside the house, safe and sound.

Icy here down here in the western part of the state. The cattle got to watch me slip and slide across the field this morning during feeding time. Hopefully no new calves will arrive tonight in this icy mess.

Hope everyone can stay home tomorrow morning and avoid the icy roads.

Well I just looked on the Weather Channel and it is warming up. It is suppose to be 41 tomorrow with 90% chance of rain for us. Got to run to the post office & bank sometime tomorrow, but that's it. Hopefully it won't be slicker than snot on a door handle!

We had ice yesterday, but we got to leave work at 10:30. People seemed to get off the streets fairly early. The trees are ice covered today, but it's raining now and it's warmer, so the ice is washing off.

I wish I had my camera on me today while I was out driving around. The trees were just beautiful with the ice on them. Then we had the fog and there were so many photo ideas and I kept kicking myself for not bringing my camera along for the ride.

We got a bit of icing here. My husband left work Thursday at 11:00 and I left my work at 1:00. It didn't get too bad until the overnight hours and I felt a bit guilty for leaving early, but the forecast and the radar lead everyone here to believe it was worse than it was. Still better safe than sorry I think.
