And did you all notice the 2 bright stars right beside the eclipsed moon. One was the planet Saturn and the star Regulus from the constellation Leo. Pretty cool, I'd say. MB

Like Julie, we were under clouds, but they were filmy enough that we could see the moon shining before the eclipse. It became very dark and rather eerie when the moonlight disappeared. We have no other "civilized" lights in sight, so we can pretend we're really in the wilds. Can you imagine what early people felt when the moon went dark?
Oh, and, my own cycle is back in gear - whew!

I didn't know that it was a total eclipse (and a full moon) but with all the weirdos calling the last few days, I kept saying out loud, "Is it a full moon?" and....yep, it was!!!

Hey guys, I took pictures of the entirety of the full moon eclipse and just NOW managed to get them on my blog. It was fun, but REALLY cold on the back deck, I had to run out every 15 minutes, but I posed the best pics on the blog.

Enjoy: http://queenofcrows.blogspot.com/2008/02/beauty-of-nature.html
