Like Julie, we were under clouds, but they were filmy enough that we could see the moon shining before the eclipse. It became very dark and rather eerie when the moonlight disappeared. We have no other "civilized" lights in sight, so we can pretend we're really in the wilds. Can you imagine what early people felt when the moon went dark? Oh, and, my own cycle is back in gear - whew!

I didn't know that it was a total eclipse (and a full moon) but with all the weirdos calling the last few days, I kept saying out loud, "Is it a full moon?" and....yep, it was!!!
Farmgirl Sister #80, thanks to a very special farmgirl from the Bluegrass..."She was built like a watch, a study in balance ... with a neck and head so refined, like a drawing by DaVinci"... NY Newsday sportswriter Bill Nack describing filly, Ruffian. http://www.buyhandmade.org/ |
