Nancy Jo, I just love the mini quilt. I am working on one similar to it by hand.. I am determined to finish it by hand even though I have a working machine now.
I got the cutest mini quilt earlier this week for 50 cents. I need to get a picture up of my recent finds.. just need to find the camera cord...

Blessings, Debra

Nancy, it's always a treat to see your thrift finds but I have to tell you I really love your embroidered items. You do such a beautiful job and the end result is so delightful!

Nancy Jo, neat stuff, as usual! I love the old writing paper...the one that looks like little swiss dots is real cute. Your embroideries are nice also. Like Patricia said, you do such nice work and it always looks good. I am trying to get up the nerve to do a freehand saying for a housewarming gift for my friends. I'm just not sure how it will come out. I know I should do like they did in the old days and do a "sampler" to get my stitching down...I may at that. Well, thanks for sharing! Judy

What fun to see all your treasures. And the basket of your little pillows is lovely. I got a tiny quilt at a junk store last year, very old, tiny red and white log cabin. It must have been someone's doll quilt. It was incredibly filthy, I washed it by hand about six times before I got the dirt out. I'm working on figuring out how to put a picture on here, when I've accomplished that I'll post a apicture of it. I love the tiny quilt you got. Thanks for sharing your goodies with us. Karin

Judy, try doing your freehand pattern on a piece of scrap. It will give you confidance and you can make any changes you want without doing harm to the 'GOOD' one.

Good Luck!

Nancy Jo I see you left with out me again,Looks like you had a good day, I didnt have much luck shopping, but did super good selling now I have to restock from somewhere Hopefully my picker will come thru soon, My friends from SC left this afternoon and my brother is bringing my dad down in the morning, I have to keep him for a week, but I can get caught up on some house things while he is here. He really gets a kick out of all this junk. Guess since tomorrow is Sat. you will be good for a few days

Yes Miss Wilma, I will have to make do for a few days as I don't usually thrift on the weekends. Now it will be different come spring because Garage sales start and thats a Sat. thing.
I had to leave without you because I called and you had already left for two days . ha
Going to cut up some material I got yesterday and see what I can come up with. Been looking for another old quilt I can cut up, I bet one will turn up at the thrift soon.
How nice that your Dad is coming to stay for a bit, post a picture.
