Oh my gosh! As I was doing some chores today, I realized how soon summer will be here. Only 4 more months before Doug and I are going to be making a HUGE life change and moving from Idaho! Oh my gosh! Minor panic attack. I know things will come together, but I am such a planner. I hate not knowing where we will be living or what job Doug will get. But I am oh so excited to be closer to family, and oh so sad to be leaving some AMAZING friends behind.

I haven't even met you and I'll miss you! I'm excited for you and Doug and hope that you have everything that you've wished for. I'm glad that you can be closer to your family and all the joys of having them near. But I will really miss you and will miss going fruit harvesting with you.

hugs and good wishes for you

Annika-

I will miss you too, but I will probably come up every year to go blackberry picking and visit. I figure if I pick enough blackberries to fill up a trunk of a car then it is worth the trip with a tiny bag of blackberries costing $3!! Maybe we can go blackberry picking!

We will have to get together and have tea before I leave. Or go to Dinner at the University Inn. :D

So glad to hear someone else is getting minor panic attacks- I just noticed it's 4 months also!! You'll be moving out just when I'm moving in Alee; boy that was bad planning on my part, wasn't it? Well, I'm sorry to see a new friend go, but I'm so glad you'll be closer to family, the move will go just fine, and we expect you to be online talking to us all the time!

Audrina-

Yes, I will be chatting away here like always! :D I will still come up and visit. Maybe when I come and visit we can all have a weekend where we berry pick and have fun! Huckleberrywine, Carol Sue and Teresa will tell you- my berry patch is amazing and we could pick until we were sick of berries and there would still be plenty!

Hi Alee! I am so excited for you and Doug. I know how much you want to be with your family. Are you going up earlier to find a place to live and maybe a job for Doug or are you just moving and staying with family until you get settled. It will be a very exciting time for all of you. How great Nora will be nearer her family too.

Doug has a tenative job offer already at a engineering firm. He would be assembling light fixtures for cars and tractors. We hope to find something that would interest him a bit more, but if nothing else, we do have that offer which is great. We are going to try and find a place to live before we move, but might live with my folks in Wyoming for a month until his final paycheck comes in and our deposit on our apartment comes in as well.

LOL Hey- I offered to share a U-Haul to Billings, but for some reason you decided that your new house was more enticing. *lol*

I'm excited because when I'm at the cabin I go to Billings about every two weeks to shop. I'll be able to keep up with little Nora!

My dd lives in Riverton and attends college at CWC. I get up there quite a bit, so the Thermop thing sounds great. We could even soak in what my kids used to call the "fart" water. *L*

LOL, Sounds great Sherone! I love Thermop and I can't wait to see what Nora thinks of "Stinky Town"

For those of you who wonder what we are talking about, Thermopolis, WY has "The World's Largest Hot Springs" complete with amazing mineral formations and 2 swimming pools. Unfortunatly, it also smells like sulfer. But you get used to it after a few minutes and then it is just so nice to swim in...ah...

That is funny Alee! We stopped in Termpolis Wyoming years ago on a trip up to Montana and Colorado!!! We thought it was the funniest place ever! Our kids were small then and they didn't even have a Mc Donalds!! Imagine that!!!!LOL!

Alee,
We are so on for berry picking!! I'm gonna hold you to that when you visit, cuz' I'm an expert berry picker (if I do say so myself), and I am an even better berry eater.....When we lived in the bay area, we would pick lollieberries (kinda a cross between blackberry and raspberry) and in Sacramento every summer we take a weekend drive to pick blueberries (we make a lot of jam). But I've only had huckleberry icecream; never just the berries (or jam or pie)-so that's one more thing I'm looking forward to!!
