I got a bag of Easter things at the thrift this morning that are pretty cute. Finished a couple of embroidered pillows. Thought you might like to see what is in my work basket. And my old singer sewing machine has a new job.
What is in your work basket?? Lets see some pictures.

Goodness gracious!! Oh yeah, that's the name of the book you have in your basket---what is the book about? You do such beautiful embroidery---talented fingers or needle I should say. Maybe I will gather some of my ongoing stuff together and get a picture going. MB

Miss Wilma,
I hope the creek don't rise because I want to see what goods you bring home. I'll get your check in the mail and thankyou for making her a pillow.

Oh my gosh, Nancy Jo, those pillows are incredible! I can't decide which I like better, but the oil lamp design is so unique. Do you use a pattern or some up with your own designs? Not that it matters, your work is just perfect! Hugs ...

Nancy Jo - I have my grandmothers old White sewing treadle machine, still with the original leather strap on the wheel. I remember Mom sewing my first day of school skirts on it. Now it is in the guest room with a lamp on it. I have the bill of sale, too. When you open the lid, and the machine rises, there is an inlaid wood ruler on it. Gosh, it is so pretty. I lugged that home to Florida from Illinois when I was 27 and single. Brought it home in my 1974 VW station wagon.

I see from your photos, the Early American Life Magazine is in your basket. I subscribed to that 15 years ago, and still have my fave copies. Love them! And I love your photos too!

Jeannie,
Now see another picture I would like to see, your sewing machine. We must get you a blog! Yes I like EARLY AMERICAN LIFE MAG. too. Glad you got to keep the sewing machine, I think they make a nice piece of furniture if they are no longer used for sewing.

No doubt about the strength, since you seem to run at about 65 mph just when you're contemplating which craft to tackle next! (knew it wouldn't be decaf).... Hugs, Nance

Wow...what a lot of wonderful things to look at, I am particularly intrigued by the doll books. Would you ever consider having a lending library for them? Your roadside find chair is great. It always amazes me the things people throw away. Your workbasket is great, and all the pictures of all yr goodies. I remember someone gave me a Singer treadle machine when I was a kid, but my mother thought it too big and too much trouble so she disappeared it on me. They are such beautiful old sweeties. I do have my mother's old
Featherwieght and I use that machine a lot. Karin
