What is your favorite comfort food, you know the one you head to the kitchen to get when you are feeling down or someone has hurt your feelings.

Mine is Little Debbie Swiss Rolls and a cold glass of milk. You let someone step on my feelings, I am off to grab that box of swiss rolls with milk and just let my pity party begin.

It's not always a pity party though, sometimes I think as moms, women in general we work so hard to keep harmony in our lives and the lives of our loved ones, sometimes you just need something to bring a little comfort your way.

Chocolate Chip cookies or Chocolate Cake, with ice cold milk.
But, since I am diabetic now, I have to behave and have a sliver of cake, or a couple of small cookies and a tiny glass of milk.
Otherwise I love mashed potatoes with butter.

Shepherd's Pie! Made it yesterday for dinner and we're having the warmed up left-o's tonight. So good, especially with wind chills dipping down toward -10F!

I'd like to go over to Amanda's for Colcannon and mac and cheese. :D And a glass of Guiness stout. And maybe we could listen to some Van Morrison....That's an Irish girl comfort fest! LOL!

I'm not Irish, but I'm always up for Van Morrison.
