I bought Mary Janes Book a couple of weeks ago and I love it so much. I don't think I have ever had a book I have enjoyed as much as this book. It has brought back so many memories of my childhood many of which I had forgotten about. It is just full of so much info. I really liked the first few pages of reading. So much love nad thought put into the words.I highly recommend this book to everyone.

Arlene, thanks for your reading list! I've heard the Kite Runner is wonderful, but disturbing. what'd you think? Borrowed it from a friend but haven't started it yet.

Hey Farm Girls!

I read a great book this weekend. It is called "Hanna's Daughters" and was written by a Swedish author named Marianne Fredriksson. It tells the story of a grandmother, mother and daughter between the years of 1871-1987. Their lives and relationships are explored in depth; the setting is Sweden and Norway.

As the author stated "I hope that you will begin to wonder who your grandmother was and in what way she shaped your life."
