you and your honey and your marvelous magazine! i was sittin' and talking with mimi (oh my gosh .. what a sweetheart she is .. when ya'll come to visit .. i'll introduce you to her .. and since moving here .. she has been the 'wind beneath my wings') anyhoo .. she and judy (our mayor's new assistant) .. were just sittin' around yesterday gossippin' (the good kind!) and mimi just LIT UP .. and talked and talked and talked so excitedly about how wonderful you two are and how wonderfully professional your magazine is!

I so very much want to come visit you one day Ms. Frannie. I've got to start saving my pennies for sure.I would so much enjoy meeting you and your honey hunk and all the fine folks that you mention on here from time to time. I am so thrilled that Ms. Mimi enjoyed the magazine. I was enthralled by the building renovation and photos and I can only imagine how exciting of an opportunity and venture it has been for them.What a treasure they are working on renovating! I know that I'd enjoy meeting all of the fine folks in Green County. You know you can give me a ring on the telly anytime you wanna talk too girlfriend. Paul got on to me the other day telling me "I don't know why you don't call Miss Frannie and the other farmgirls on the phone from time to time..you know we do have free long distance service you need to start using it." ..ha..gotta love that man of mine..LOL We've talked about planning a family trip to go gem hunting but maybe I can convince the family to steer towards good old Kentucky instead. I will definitely for sure start talking up Kentucky and hopefully I'll get my way real soon.:0)I'd love, love, love meeting you. And of course if you decide to take a jaunt down towards Florida..I'm in that funny little crook on the Gulf of Mexico..known as the Panhandle..:0) Your welcome to stop by anytime. Hugs, Tina
oh tina .. i'm shakin' the crumbs outta' the sheets right now for you and Paul and all the chillun you wanna' bring! Early spring .. we're going to have a 'tent platform' built down in the woods at the edge of the forest by the 'crick' (which .. of course .. usually runs DRY in the summertime) .. i must turn to MaryJane's Lifebook 20 times a week .. and the pages of her tents are absolutely worn and drooled all over! You and Paul can have the 'stranger room' beds .. the rest of the family you bring can either camp out on cots .. and we have a LOVELY screened in porch where Meggie's LUCAS slept on their visit here .. and hopefully by then .. our Forest Tent will be built if the kids want to sleep with the deer and other forest critters.
ohhhh .. i promise you a grande vacation .. i'll take you to meet all the gurlfrenz in Green and surrounding Counties! Depending on when you come .. we can all go to our local Lincoln JAMBOREE .. such fun! or perhaps your visit will fall on one of our own little village's JAMMIN' ON THE SQUARE! And .. there is also the WONDERFUL Kentucky Repertory Theatre that Hank and i always get season tickets too! They are FABULOUS! There is our Australian hands-on zoo .. Kentucky Down Under which is lots of fun .. and a trip into the belly of MAMMOUTH CAVES would be at the top of the 'fun' list too! (You and i might sneak off one early morning to do a little 'antiquing' if you wanna'). We can visit "My Olde Kentucky Home" .. or run up to Shakertown. For a reeeeeeeeely fun coupla' days .. we can head for the Smokey Mountains of Tennessee and go to CADES COVE ... if you love authentic log cabins in their original environment .. you will LOVE it there .. oh there are so many places to go ... wonders to see down this-a-way! There are LOTS of fun things happening here .. and the 'gems' you will find .. will be the good people of Kentucky!!!

p.s. Mimi and friends will be DELIGHTED to meet you all. GOSH .. we might even pull together a little program down at our historic olde courthouse if you and Paul would like to give a presentation about your wonderful magazine!!!!
we will be in florida at the end of the month .. but only 'on land' for a few days .. honey wants to hit the everglades and swim with the alligators .. and he wants to (if we have time) drive down the KEYS .. i'll have to get out my map .. is that 'crook' anywhere near the keys where we might stop and 'do dinner' together at one of the local restaurants for some 'fresh caught fish'?? xo
have to steer clear of May .. June and early July .. .but late July and August and September are free and clear. Come when our weather is warm!
