Boy are we getting hit here in southern Wisconsin. It's almost a white out today. Gotten about 6-10 inches (depending where you are)in the last 8 hours with 10-12 more on it's way!!!!! YEA!!!!!!!!! The storm has stalled and has begun to move in a circular pattern. We have gotten so much snow this year it is GREAT!!!!!!! I hope this turns into a two day snow day. Will miss the money on the pay check but spending two extra days snowed in with DH is priceless!!!!! Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!!!!!

Hey, Betty Jo! We aren't far from you and we just got hammered with the same storm. I don't know how much snow we got- we had 4 inches when I went to bed. It is blowing so bad the drifts are just terrible. My hubby tried to see if he could make it to town and he couldn't even make it the 2 miles to pavement. His work shut down. I feel like a kid when school would get cancelled!
Just came in from a trek in the snow. My DH and I put on our snow shoes and off we went. We have about 13 new inches on the ground and are expected to get another 4-6. All the malls in the area where closed today and the airport is shut until the AM. This has been an awesome year for snow. My boss called this morning to say that her classes had been called off and I should stay home. About an hour ago she called again to say that I should come in two hours later then normal tomorrow. Two snow days in a a row. Last week I had two too. Oh how I feel like a school girl!!! Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow!

The snow finally ended after dropping 20+ inches on us. The weather has given us just enough time to dig out before it dropped another 3 then winds up to 50 mph and freezing temp. At this moment the temp is -10 with wind chill of -34. The temps should climb above zero sometime Monday and then more snow. We have mountains of snow and DH does not know where else to start to pile it. We are 30+ inches over our average for the year. I'm just loving it but then of course I can sit in the house and watch him plow.
