Because I'm finally going on a VACATION!!! This is our first vacation since our honeymoon, which was seven years ago. We're heading to an island up north, and I am SO excited! This will be the first camping trip for my boys and my husband, too. Yay!!
Just had to share my excitement. |

Heather, I was just about to send out the very same post!!! Yep, got the daughter moved into a new apartment this week and the boy sent off to hockey camp and a tournament next week..... and I, dear friends, am off to the beach !!! (forecast: Rain.. but I won't pay it a never, no mind!!) I love the sound of the surf no matter the weather. Just need some R&R. First things packed: Mail art supplies and MJ's book! I wish surely miss you all for a week, but I might be tempted to pay for internet time if 'it's raining too hard. See ya...... Have fun, Heather!

Heather and Susan I hope you have a wonderful time while you are resting and relaxing. Vacation sounds good. It sounds like it doesn't matter where you are going; one to the woods and one to the beach, the outcome is the same. Whatever works for what you need is the way to go. For me, I could go either place and be quite happy, I think.
Oh, BTW, Heather, I received your mail art a few days ago and it was a rose among the thorns, so to speak. That particular day I also had a few bills in the mix of the mail. So to find your envelope brought a great big smile. Guess which piece of mail I opened first? That wasn't too hard to figure out, so the purpose of mailart has once again been served, to bring joy and smiles and beauty to our lives simply by opening the mail box.
Your card is very unique and personal. I can tell you put a lot of time, work and love into creating it. Thanks so much for thinking of me.
Blessings on both of your travels for safety and wonderment of all that you will see.
