Well so as to not be graphic, I am thinking about being a woman, you all know what that means. I just happened to be thinking about why am I so grumbly when my aunt flo comes to visit. I should be happy that I have this and what it means for the future. I have a long ways to go. What can you tell me about being a woman?

Ugh, I thought when I read this topic title that you were going to mention TAXES!
Hmm, I do wonder, which is worse? One comes once a month, but TAXES???!!!
So, hoe far along the road of womanhood are you? It can be wild and bumpy ride sometimes, but worth it just the same!

That is the most awesome, frustrating, beautiful experience ever and I though I could do without some of the cramps, I wouldn't trade it for the world!!! I can be soft and tough, I can be the CEO of a company or a family, even at the same time, I can be girly girly girly or be beautiful in my flip flops, jeans and tank top with my hair in a bandana and pin curls, that I have the power to change the world and the power to be strong just in how I carry myself. I don't know if that helps but that is just how I feel.
Cheers, Heather

I got my first in the third grade - two years BEFORE they showed the "Growing Up and Liking It" video to the girls in my school. Mama was out of town at the time, and Daddy drove me over to Granny's house for the week. Nobody explained it to me, but I guess I'd heard enough girl-talk to figure it out. Health class in middle school filled in the rest. "I got it - nobody told me. I didn't get it - nobody told me. I thought, 'This is life,' and went back to my meatballs." Sophia in the "Golden Girls." |
