Has anyone read the recent news articles that have been talking about the agriculture crisis in China right now? With China's population growing, they have been having to build over traditional crop lands. The news article that I read said that instead of exporting grains, they will probably have to become one of the world's largest importers as soon as this year! Plus they are having a pork meat shortage!

I am going to talk with my husband about investing in some agriculture futurities because no matter what else happens, the world has to eat, right?

Good. It's about time that somebody buys American! Americans certainly can't, nothing is made here anymore. China will be able to pour some of the money back into our economy for a change.I'm really glad for the farmers here.

One of my friends believes we'll just come one step closer to China "owning" us...

The futures market has historically been pretty risky, check it thoroughly before investing. I've seen farmers lose their homes over it where I grew up.
