I'm so glad you like them, Miss Wilma....and yep, Jus sure does like those apple pies (and YOU!). He started his new job today, and I think, after our fun weekend, is pooped! He's already asleep, so I'm taking full advantage of the quiet and I'm stealing some time with the girls!

Jonni - let me know the next time ya'll are coming down. We definitely want to get together with you guys. Hubby had to work and we were busy this weekend. I cannot wait until springtime with the flowers in bloom there at Shakertown. I entered some of my photographs in their catalog contest last year. It is one of my favorite places to go and photograph during the seasons. :)

Absolutely, Jessica. You probably would have thought we were boring anyway--all we did was sit by the fire! I started (and almost finished a knit hat) and we finalized our seed picks so that I can order this week. Not TOO exciting, but oh-so gratifying and peaceful.

I love Springtime there...when we were last there in the Spring, there was a den of baby foxes (kits?) near the Trustees building and they would pop their little heads up every now and again. I could have watched them all day long!

You're tellin' me! He's in there sawin' logs! And he loves you dearly...he will play music for you, he's been working on songs again, and it's lovely to hear him play. Shakertown is always inspirational for him.

Jonni - haha, I thought you might get bored with us, but we do the same thing...not a lot of anything around here. Hubby will sit around playing his guitar and I'll work on some photography stuff. Not too exciting around here. We are like little ole people around here. haha.

No way, Jessica...you're my kindof folks. Our favorite days are no time frame, open schedule days where we can do what we like. Usually spend the day doing individual things (he reads, plays music, I garden or knit, or read...) and then in the evening we have a nice dinner, and watch some tv, or a movie and then off to sleep. Nothing fancy to say the LEAST!
