Just wanted to share a couple of prim treasures that I completed this week. If anyone is interested, just email me. I'll be adding them to my shop on Sunday.
This early style pinkeep is handcrafted from antique rose linen. I have handstitched it with a heart & doves motif including a date & "Beloved". It is backed in aged repro cotton print & filled with clean sawdust. The hangar is attached with buttons and has an old rusty key attached. This hanging pinkeep measures 3x5. $14 includes first class postage SOLD

This old wooden pinkeep box is topped with an early style sampler that I handstitched. I have stitched it with tiny little stitches on old linen. I just love this picture which includes a willow tree, a maiden, a cat, a sheep, a swing & a rosebush. You can store your little sewies in it or use it for jewelry. It measures 3 1/2 x 4 1/2. $23 includes priority shipping.

Finally is a set of vintage embroidered pillow slips with two white swans framed in a heart of purple blooms. Each slip has tatting around the opening. The photos does not pick up the swans as well as I would like. I did not do this handwork but they are finely stitched. $15 includes first class shipping.

Thanks Nancy Jo! I got so much done when my computer was down! Guess I should turn it off more often. LOL I usually sew at night to unwind ... especially the stitching. It's my therapy!
The pillowcases came from a little antique shop in town. A sweet little woman runs the shop and gets in all sorts of treasures from time to time. I bought 4 handmade quilts from her last October. I sold two and kept two. Sometimes I get carried away and buy more than I should and then I have to start thinning out again! LOL But it is so much fun.
