Yes I went to the thrift again, oh please help me!! Not that it would do any good. I mean who knows, what if they close the thrift, and then I will say, why didn't I go more often when it was opened. see? So I have to go. Anyway got a quilt and a basket and some little patches to put on something. The weather is turning bad here again tomorrow so no thrift and I hardly ever go on the weekends. Yesterday was awful weather, snow and 60 mile per hour winds for hours. Today we get a break, but cold out, only 19 degrees.
Wow a thrift and a weather report all in one post, I wonder if I over did the coffee again?

Well, Nancy Jo. Since you're having my Kentucky weather(we had all of that yesterday), I think I should be able to have one of your thrift store days tomorrow..... I'm going to go and see if I can find cool stuff like you do this time. :D

Haha Nancy you are a hoot! There is a lady I wait in line with at our thrift...yes, we WAIT IN LINE TO GET IN! Anyway, she always makes me think of you because she is always there whenever I go. A few days ago I finally asked her if she goes thrifting every day. She said, "Of course, I plan my day around it!". She is a sweetheart and just so funny. I keep thinking I will invite her out for lunch one day soon. OK, off to see your treasures!
No regrets for you Nancy!

Nancy Jo - that is one sweeeet basket! It looks old and has patina as they say. And I love the quilt, too. You are not going to use it as a cutter quilt are you???? :) I know you have a hankering for one of those.

Oh Nancy Jo, I was so worried you had to deal with the flooding I heard was going on in your area. And THANK GOODNESS the thrift shop didn't flood...can't see your pictures till I get home though.
Can't wait to see the quilt.

No flooding here yesterday. That was a few miles from us. The thrift store is on high ground thank goodness.
