Ok I have a lil sorta quirk, I hate talking on the phone cept for my bf. Even then I'm not all about it. My friends always say call me. Uh let me text you. I hate talking on it. I don't know why. At work I must talk to strangers etc but I don't know. Anyone else understand?

I never talk to my friends on the phone. I can sit on a message board alllllll day long (and do some days!), but I rarely initiate phone calls.

I really dislike talking on the phone. Hardly ever do, when I do it is short and brief.
Flipside: I work as a helpdesk tech and answer the phones all day and help people.
Funny it is , how something I dislike is part of my daily job. I enjoy my job, but I guess those calls all seem to have a purpose, not just chit chat.

I'm not a chatty person...thank goodness for caller id and vms. I rarely answer my phone, if I'm nearby, I'll check caller id....if the call is so important, then the caller will leave vms.

Wow! I thought I was the only woman alive who hates talking on the phone! I don't even have a home phone, just a cell phone, and I forget to turn it on half the time. |

I talk on the phone for a living. Mercifully, my boss saw the wisdom in purchasing cordless headsets for us. I get a lot more done, and it is easier than being leashed to my desk. On my personal time, I hardly ever talk on the phone. I know, big surprise. I am in the middle of trying to cancel my cell service. 85+ dollars per month for my son and I to each have a line we don't use. If I cancel now, the fee is 105 dollars per line to cancel. Sadly, I will still save about 700+ dollars to cancel early-and that includes purchasing new phones and minutes on the new phone. We are going to those pay as you go Trac phones to see how those suit us. I only want a cell phone primarily for safety purposes.
