hey gurlfrenz .. i jus' walked in the door (haven't even unpacked yet! it's rainin' on the tin roof and i'm sittin' here jus' lovin' the rhythym! oh what fun we did have! lordy! i so adore 'gurlfren roadtrips' .. i'll write more of it soon .. haf'ta' check out my e-mails ..
honey hunk went to town to a rotary meeting .. soooo .. i won't be able to give him a big squeeze until this evening! will give me some time to 'wind-down' and jus' walk about and re-visit the cabins!
didn't buy a lot of stuff .. but kathy bought enough for BOTH of us! i find that i just don't buy anywhere near like i used to. either i already have it .. had it .. or am NOT willing to pay the incredibly HIGH price for what i might want! i sure do still love to LOOK and VISIT with antiques though ..
FOR THAT FACT .. i was reading an antiques booklet we picked up about all the shows that are coming up soon (the big NASHVILLE show is mid-february whe the cabin fever girls are coming for a visit .. BUT .. there is another great NASHVILLE show in either March or April (i'll have to check those dates) .. and i wanna' go! i'll announce another 'road trip' to nashville for the show soon. ef'fen you can come along .. i'd love it!
hope everyone had a great weekend .. i'll be doin' some 'readin' on my forums a little later today.

oh kathy .. i could use some pretty snow about now .. i'd whip up that fireplace heater .. and get my needle threaded .. cuz' on the ride to illinois .. i cut out TWENTY more dolly bodies! and snow would keep my hiney home to do some sewin'!
but the SNOW .. NEEDS to be GONE by the time the gurlfrenz gather mid-february!!!
amy .. i got some wonderful 'cutter quilt' pieces to make us some 'make-do' pin cushions to go along with those dollies when ya'll get here .. GOSH .. you gurlz might have to stay a WEEK to get all done that i have planned! xo

Wish I could get something done while riding in a car, but I have to look straight ahead. I get car sick to easy.
Told the lady today at the thrift if she comes across any old handmade quilts that they can't put out for sale because they are damaged to save them for me. So Maybe I will get lucky and get a cutter quilt.

nancy .. i jus' bought a CHUNK of very tattered cutter quilt .. gonna' use it to make 'make-do's' when the gurlz come to visit mid-february for our Cabin Fever Gathering .. .. i'll be happy to stuff it in that box comin' your way! (actually, i like the back of it even more than the front .. and the back isn't tattered . .but is a lovely olde pattern). xo
now .. i'm gonna' wanna' see what you create with it!
oh .. p.s. i got a bunch of wonderful antique quilt 'stars' (i think?? .. jus' bought them today .. and they are still in the van!) .. i'll tuck a couple of those in there too.
i'll post pics of our 'make-do's' when we are all finished with them! xo

Yea for sure, all snow must be GONE at the time of the Cabin Fever gathering, I need my roadtrip/gurlfriend therapy 
Lookin' forward to seeing all of the goodies that you picked up and I would LOVE to stay for a week.....next time
