I just looked out to see 2 deer happily munching on my snow covered garden. I had to take a double take though, because the deer are about the same height as my 2 half pint horses. The boys were happily munching on hay in thier pasture. The deer and horses occasionally glanced at each other, but just kept enjoying thier lunch. Sharing the garden with the deer at this time of the year is perfectly fine. Come spring, it will be a different story, but they will have more "restaurants" to choose from then too!

How neat! I love it when unexpected things like this happen. Doesn't it just make your whole day?

I've seen a lot of tracks in my yard. I've yet to see the culprits yet!

My yard is full of deer tracks too. I have to say though, it isn't "fine" with me! We live in a wooded area, so they don't need to dine at Dawn's Garden Cafe! In the summer, the little darlings ate my sedum and bugbane up on me! I was not amused. I'm worried about what the winter damage looks like by spring.
