I am trying to make pop overs for the past two days and it is not coming out properly. It just curves inside. This is the recipe I am following.

1 cup flour
1 cup milk
1 tsp salt
2 eggs
2 tbsp butter

mixing and baking it in a muffin pan by filling half the cup at 425F for 30 mins.
Can anyone tell me why it is not popping over.

Thank you

This post is pretty old but I'm giving my advice anyway. I use Ina's recipe from the Food Network. Her recipe is the easiest and the best. Remember don't open the oven door during the 30 minute cooking time. You can get the recipe on foodnetwork.com. I use it all the time. They are yummy!!!!

i saw a show once with paula deen. she said if you want them to rise correctly you must use individual custard cups for each. you can also not fill the center holes in a muffin tin.you need air around each popover for a good rise just a thought sherrye. also when out of oven prick a ho;e or two with a toothpick to let out steam.
