i am soooooooooo looking forward to seeing kathy's article next issue! someday you have GOT to meet her (she is genuinely one of the nicest women i have ever met .. not a mean bone in her body!) .. you are not so far away! let's plan a trip for you to come play in kentucky soon! xo

No no, Frannie I'll get a hold of them myself, but thank you!  I'd sure hate to miss an issue!
Is Kathy, Sugar Bucket Kathy? That's quite a bit to live up to...but I'll believe it coming from you! Of course I'd love to meet the nicest woman in the entire world! I've heard a few nice things about you here & there.

well chile .. i did say 'one' of the nicest women in the world .. i surely have met some wonderful women in my lifetime. i can honestly say that there are only a couple people (out of zillions) that i have known that i felt were truly 'mean-spirited' -- and those -- well, i do believe they are just basically very unhappy and don't know how to dig themselves out of that unhappiness. guess i'm not quite up there with 'will rogers' who NEVER met a man he didn't like .. but i like to believe i'm pretty close. kathy is indeed SUGARBUCKET KATHY .. i heard about her before i even moved to kentucky .. and when i did move here .. there were soooo many people who spoke so very highly of her ... (i hit just about every antiques shoppe in the state of kentucky .. and they all knew her by her fairness and kindness, truthfulness and upstanding reputation) .. and the fact that she is one of those TRUE FRIENDS in life that we are blessed to have touched our lives! i just KNEW i wanted to know this woman .. and called her up and invited her to lunch .. and the rest is history .. we're good 'buds' .. and i have tons of fun with her .. travelling here and there .. and finding GREAT antiques! i swear .. the woman can smell 'em out .. and she has dealers who just love her and call her as soon as they get great stuff! it surely does pay to be nice!
kathy has had some pretty major boulders thrown in her path during her life .. and god love her .. she just climbs over them and comes out smiling on the other side. one of those 'wind beneath my wings' angels! chile' .. you jus' wait t'il you do meet her .. you'll count her as a dear friend too! and oh pshaw! thanks for the sweet words about me. i do try to be nice .. and kind .. but i ain't no LAY-DOWN and can 'whip it up' with the likes of Muhammed Ali if necessary! (by the way .. i've met him too (he was the man responsible for getting my very most favorite 'boss' appointed to a high position in the government) .. and he's a dear too!
i just know that you, too, are among those 'mos' favorites of mine!! i can hardly wait to meet you in person some day! xo

My "good" reading glasses broke today...I'm wearin' my spares. Must have been how I skipped over that word "one". The Will Rodgers quote comes pretty close to What I've heard about Frannie M. Of course I can't reveal my source(s).
We will kick up some dust when we finally DO meet Frannie! I look forward to it too!
