I have played around with it. For Christmas, I taught myself to make sheep. It was fun and easy, and they turned out cute. I have seen cuter and nicer ones, but I enjoyed mine too. We can call them more primitive!! I really like needle felting. Find it relaxing I guess.

I have taught needle felting for some years now and it is a blast, don't bother with any fancy tools at first (I never use them). Just a needle or two (they can break), some VERY thick foam and wool.I love A Child's Dream Come True for supplies- you can find them online if your local fiber shop does not have supplies.
Feel free to email me with any questions;) Rebekka

It's very easy Amy. I taught myself. I needle felt doll's hair-so cool to be able to "style" hair in so many different ways! I've also done some designs on purses, totes, and pincushions. I've seen some adorable little felted animals too. I'd love to try that myself!

And hey look ^ Rebekka is willing to teach you the tricks of the trade!

LOTS of info online too-just do a search! Do tell/show us what you are going to make!

Happy felting!
Rhonda

Can you do this with your existing sewing machine or do you have to buy a special machine if you don't want to do it by hand?
